Betty's Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 1 1/2 t baking soda
• 2 cups chopped nuts
• 1/8 t nutmeg
• 1 t cinnamon
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 t vanilla
• 3 diced apples

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat. Stir all dry ingredients but apples and nuts. Mix then fold in apples and nuts. Bake in a greased tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
