Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb ground beef, I use a leaner 90/10
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes
  • 1-14.5 oz can Muir Glen Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 T brown sugar
  • 1 pkg William's Chili Seasoning (measure for 1 lb. ground beef)
  • 2-3 dashes Worcestershire
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Press “Sauté” option and "adjust" to "more"; allow Instant Pot to heat up. Add ground beef and brown for 2-3 minutes

Add onion and bell pepper, cook an additional 2 minutes on “Sauté”; drain fat

Add beans, tomatoes, broth and seasonings; stir

Manual cook 20 minutes

NPR 10 minutes

Serve with condiments of choice.
