Ingredients

  • 8 Slices of Bacon, diced
  • 1 Large Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sherry Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 3 teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2- 4 Prepared Beef Patties
  • 2-4 Hamburger Buns
  • 1 cup Fresh Arugula
  • 1/4 cup Cranberry Sauce
  • 2-4 Slices Guyre Cheese

Preparation

Step 1


After bacon is diced, fry for about five minutes. Set aside on a plate with a paper towel. Drain fat from pan.

Saute onions until soft and translucent for about 8 to 10 minutes. Pour brown sugar and sherry vinegar into the pan. Stir for one minute and then add the cooked bacon and water. Stir for about 10 minutes and allow jam to become dark in color and thick. Set aside.

Prepare patties according to directions.

Spread bacon jam on one side of the bun and cranberry sauce on the other. Place patty in buns and top with cheese and arugula. Enjoy!
