Ingredients
- 1 - Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Shortening
- 1/2 Cup ( 1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. Ginger
- 1/2 tsp. Cloves
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 3 cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Molasses
- 1 Cup Rasins

Preparation
Step 1
In a lg. bowl, beat together the sugar, shortening and butter til smooth. Beat in the spices, salt and baking soda.
Slowly stir in the flour, then add the molasses and beat well again. Stir in the raisins.
Pat dough into a 10 x 15 lightly greased pan. Bake 15-20 At 350, until golden brown and starts to pull from sides of pan. Don't over bake
