  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 4 TBS butter
  • 4 TBS flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat. Drain and set aside.

In saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour to make roux. Whisk in milk, salt, & pepper. Stir constantly until thick and bubbly. Stir in meat.

Serve over toast or biscuits.
