Pulled pork

This recipe was given to me by a friend who swore it was the easiest and best pull pork she had ever had.

She was right!

Ingredients

  • 6 lb pork butt
  • 1 Tbl plus 2 1/2 tsp Hawaiian sea salt
  • 1 Tbl plus 3/4 tsp liqued smoke

Preparation

Step 1

Pierce the meat all over.

Rub in salt, then the liquid smoke all over the meat.

Put in a crock pot, cover and cook on low for 16 to 20 hours, turning once half way during the cooking process.

Remove meat from crock pot and shred, use drippings as necessary.
