Banana Pudding

Ingredients

• 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 T. cornstarch
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 2 c. milk
• 2 egg yolks (beaten)
• 2 tsp. butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt in saucepan. Graduatlly stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil one minute. Remove from heat. Gradually stir 1/2 of hot mixture into egg yolks. Then blend into hot mixture in pan. Boil oe minute more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Blend in butter and vanilla. Pour over layers of vanilla wafers and banana slices.
