Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded frozen potatoes-loosely packed (frozen has browns are good)
  • 1/3 cup margarine-melted
  • 4 oz. sharp cheddar-shredded
  • 4 oz. gouda or Swiss cheese-shredded
  • 6 oz. ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup light cream (Hal O7 Halt) or evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw potatoes and blot up excess moisture. Press into 9" pie plate. Drizzle melted margarine on top and bake at 425* for 25 minutes.

Mix ham and cheese together and place on top of crust
Beat cream, eggs, and seasoned salt together and pour over ham and cheese. Bake 350* for 25-30 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes.
