Scalloped Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. canned tomatoes
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 tsp minced onion
  • Margarine

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Toast bread and spread margarine on top. Cut into cubes. Put cubes in bottom of a 2 qt. baking dish.
3. Sprinkle onions over bread cubes.
4. Arrange tomatoes over bread cubes and onions.
5. Sprinkle sugar over tomatoes.
6. Bake 45 minutes.
