Sceduled to eat at 5:30 but Mandana showed up at 5:45 with cold green beans, brought two only need one last year. She also brought two pumpkin log cakes, half eaten.
Mum: veg. tartin-too much work-skip next year, gravy-used turkey drippings-made huge pyrex, only used one full gravy boat with dinner, cranberries, stuffing-<1/2 eaten, pumpkin pie-awesome, 3 almond cakes for shahin-only one eaten, apple tarts-made two only one eaten
22 lb turket-pefect-made brine day before, put in brine 7am in large metal potato pot, added one bag of ice, removed from brine 12:30, in oven at 1:30, finished cooking at 4:30 rested for almost an hour. Bjoon reluctantly carved
one crockpot of yukon gold potatoes-good amount- about 2 pots per person plus a few more
sweet pots-made too much-just one big one next year-about 10 sweet pots
made brussel sprouts with bacon-hardly eaten, skip next year
Ina's Pecan bars-good, make again, makes a lot
Samira's veg tray-she brought two, they ate it
Ina's artichoke leek stuffing-good but the bread cubes too large-don't make next year
next year eat at 5:30 but have Mandana come at 4:30 so she'll be on time
