Bread stuffing, Aunt Grace's old fashioned

Ingredients
- 1 lg onion chopped (about 1 cup)
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 C celery,finely chopped
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 to 1 3/4 C broth
- 28 slices bread, cubed
- 1/2 C parsley, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Put cubed bread in a large bowl, set aside.
In a large skillet, saute` onion in butter until soft but not brown.
Stir in celery, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and broth. Bring to a boil then pour over the bread and parsley. Toss lightly until evenly moist, not mushy.
At this point you can either stuff the turkey, or put the stuffing in a buttered casserole dish and bake (350 degrees for about 30 -40 minutes, until lightly browned)
