Applesauce Spice Cake

Ingredients

• Spice Cake Mix
• 3 Large Eggs
• 1-1/4 c applesauce
• 1/3 c oil
• 1 cut chopped walnuts
• 1 c apple chunks (optional)
• 1 can Creme Cheese Frosting
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• chopped walnuts (optional for garnishing cake)

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl combine cake mix, eggs, applesauce and oil. Beat on low speed until mixed. Beat on high speed 2 minutes scraping bowl often.
Stir in chopped nuts and, if desired, apple chunks.

Pour into a 13x9x2 in greased pan.

Bake 350 degree oven according to cake package mix instructions

Cool cake.

Add cinnamon to creme cheese frosting and mix well. Frost cake with this mixture.

If desired can garnish top of cake with some chopped nuts.
