Ingredients
- 1 C Salted butter softened
- 1/2 C granulated sugar
- 1 C packed brown sugar
- 2 Lg eggs
- 2 tsp Nielsen Massey vanilla bean paste
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt.
- 1 1/2 C broken, mashed up toffee (or a Heath Bar)

Preparation
Step 1
Soften butter and mix in sugars, add eggs and vanilla.
Sift 2 1/2 C flour, 1 tsp corn starch, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp sea salt.
Add to wet mixture. Add in 1 1/2 C broken, mashed up toffee (or a Heath Bar, butterscotch hard candy, whatever candy you may have)
Spread lengthwise on wax paper and roll into a log. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Take log out and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
Bake at 350 for at least 12-14 minutes until golden on parchment paper.
Pour a glass of bourbon on rocks and enjoy.
