This makes a tasty teriyaki-type sauce to coat cooked chicken and other meat for an Asian flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey (or maple syrup or sorghum syrup)
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 tsp. fresh grated ginger or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. five-spice powder

Step 1
Combine ingredients and whisk together. After cooking meat in the saucepan, add this liquid and simmer until the sauce is thickened and clings to the meat.
If desired, dip the sauced meat into toasted sesame seeds.
