Salad Dressings - Warehouse, Bleu Cheese, French, Potato Salad

Old Warehouse Dressing (Sweet & Sour)
1 medium onion, minced
1 t prepared mustard
1 t salt
1 t celery seed
1 Cup Cider Vinegar 1 Cup Wesson Oil 2/3 Cup sugar
Blend all ingredients in a blender. Refrigerate. Makes 1 pint
San Francisco Bleu Cheese Dressing
1 pint Hellman’s mayonnaise (don’t substitute)
1/2 Cup frozen pineapple juice concentrate (get at Krogers)
About ½ pound of bleu cheese crumbled
Blend gently – Refrigerate before using
French Dressing
1 can tomato soup
½ Cup sugar
1 Cup vegetable oil
½ Cup cider vinegar
1 T wet mustard
1 T Worcestershire Sauce
1 t salt ½ t pepper
Mix in blender. Refrigerate. Makes close to a quart.
Potato Salad or Coleslaw Dressing
Miracle Whip – Start with ½ to 1 Cup. Add ½ Cup or so of sugar depending on the amount of Miracle Whip you use until sweet. Add wet mustard until faint yellow color. Add a dash of cider vinegar. Add a sprinkle, 1 t or so, of celery seed. Mix with potato salad or cut up cabbage or packaged coleslaw.
