Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds cooked cup up chicken
  • 8 oz spiral noodles
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t basil
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 egg
  • 1 16 oz carton cottage cheese
  • 2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheesse

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350
Cook noodles, drain and set aside.
Melt butter in large saucepan.
Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and basil. Cook 1-2 minutes, stirring.
Add broth slowly, stirring until smooth.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5-8 minutes.
Combine cottage cheese and egg.
Mix all ingredients together with 1 cup of Italian cheese.
Sprinkle top with remaining Italian cheese and parmesan cheese which will brown nicely.
Bake for 45 minutes - 1 hour.
