Garlic and Lemon Baked Chicken from Mish. Mag 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken,quartered or 4 chicken bottoms
  • 1 Tbs dried rosemary
  • 8 garlic cloves,whole
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon scrubbed well and sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425. Place chick in pan. Scatter rosemary on top. Crush 2 cloves garlic and sprinkle over the chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Slice the rest of the garlic into 1/4 " pieces and scatter around the chick along with the lemon slices. Pour wine and olive oil on top. Cover pan with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hrs.Remove foil and roast for another 15 min or until golden. Serve with gravy,lemon and garlic slices.
