  • 2 cups bulgar, #4
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 large can San Marzano whole tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup light olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 3 About 3 cups of water

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium pan, heat oil until hot and add the onions. Saute until transparent. Add the bulgar and cook with the onions for about 5 minutes. Put the tomatoes in a food processor until tomatoes are chopped. Add to the burgar and onion mixture. Add about 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer about 20 minutes.
When done, fluff with a fork.
