Ingredients
- 3 lb. pot roast
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 cup beef consomme
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 3 Tbs. ketchup
- 1/2 cup raisins

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°
Brown meat on all sides. Remove from pan and pour sherry over meat. Brown onions, put meat and sherry back in pan with onions and add remaining . Cover and cook for 3 hours
