- Topping:
- 1 pkg. German Chocolate cake
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1 egg
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 3 Tbsp. flour

Step 1
Heat oven to 350* Grease and flour 13x9 pan.
Combine cake mix, margarine, & egg at low speed until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping. Press remaining crumbs mixture in prepared pan. Bake at 350* for 8 to 19 minutes or until base is slightly puffy.
Sprinkle with chips and nuts. Combine topping & flour, pour over nuts. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 350* for 10-20 minutes or until chips are melted and topping begins to bubble. Cool completely, cut into bars.
