Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter , softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 cups coarsely chopped semisweet chocolate

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375
Whisk together flour,backing soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.
In a bowl beat the butter for 1 minute. Beat in the sugars until the mixture is light 2-5 mins. Scrape down bowl. Beat in the egg. Beat in the vanilla. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the flour mixture into the butter mixture in two addition. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped chocolate. Drop batter by heaping tbsp onto prepared cookie sheets spacing 2 ins apart flatten slightly. Bake in oven until set and lightly browned around edges 8-10 mins. Cool for 2 mins then cool completely on wire racks. Repeat.
