Ingredients
- 2 Onions, thinly sliced
- 4 (4oz) slices Minute Steak
- 2-3 Medium Potatoes, cut in 1" slices
- Boiling Water
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Step 1
Heat a wide stainless steel pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the onions, without oil, constantly stirring until they wilt and turn a deep amber color.
Add the minute steak and cook on each side until mostly cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Arrange the sliced potatoes around the meat (or transfer to 9x13 and bake at 250 for 3 hours) and add enough boiling water to almost cover the mixture. Season with the bay leaves, onion powder, garlic powder, coriander, salt, and pepper. Cover the pan and reduce heat to low.
Simmer until the sauce has thickened and most of the water has evaporated, about 30-40 minutes.
Serve hot.
