Recipe Thursday: Stuffed Crescent Rolls | MeloMomma

This was nothing more than an experiment and it turned out so delicious I had to share it! It’s extremely healthy (other than the crescent roll) and the flavors are delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 can of Crescent roll dough (I like Pillsbury light and flaky)
- 1 lb. extra lean ground turkey (I like JennieO 99% fat free)
- 3/4 bag of fresh spinach shredded
- 1 onion diced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 yellow squash cubed
- 1/4 zucchini squash cubed
- Feta Cheese
- 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- Pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Brown turkey in a non stick skillet.
Add 1/4 cup of water.
Add yellow squash and zucchini squash ad onion.
Allow to cook for 3 minutes stirring frequently.
Add the seasoning salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
Add the spinach.
Cook until the spinach is just wilted.
Remove from heat.
Prepare the crescent rolls for stuffing.
Fill each crescent roll with the filling.
Top with feta cheese.
Roll up.
Bake at temperature stated on the package.
Serve with a side salad and enjoy!
