- 1 cream cheese softened
- 3/4 c. butter softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 Tbsp. butter melted
- Red & green colored sugars...or other colors

Step 1
Beat first 4 ingredients with mixer until blended. Add flour and baking soda; mix well.
Refrigerate 30 min.
Melt 2 Tbsp. butter. Divide dough in half. Place one half between 2 large sheets of waxed paper; roll to 12x9 rectangle. Remove top sheet of wax paper.
Brush dough with 1/2 the butter; sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. colored sugar. Starting at short end, roll up dough tightly. Roll in 2 Tbsp. additional colored sugar. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Repeat with remaining dough.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Heat oven to 375. Cut dough into 1/4" thick slices; place 2" apart on baking sheets sprayed with Pam. Bake 9-11 min or until lightly browned. Cool 3 min on baking sheets; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.
