Ingredients
- 2 lbs lean stew meat, cubed
- 14.5 can low sodium tomatoes with liquid
- 10 oz low sodium beef broth
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp majoram
- 1/3 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 C dry red table wine
- 2 cups peeled potatoes, cubed
- 1 C chopped celery
- 4 med carrots, sliced
- 3 small onions, quartered
- 1 C fresh green beans
- 2 tbls arrowroot, mixed into a slurry with an equal amount of water

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat overn to 325
Brown beef cubes on all sides
Transfer to dutch oven along with tomatoes, broth and wine
Season with garlic powder, majoram and pepper - bring to a boild stirring frequently
Add potatoes, celery, carrots and onions and season with fresh ground epper
Mix well, cover and bake
After 1 hour sirt in green beans
Continue to bake an additional hour - or until tender
Just before serving stir in arrowroot mixture and heat on stovetop until sauce is thickened
