Whole Roasted Chicken
- 1 whole roasting Chicken (thawed and Innards removed)
- Favorite dry rub (we like Buck's Seasoning)
Rub Chicken liberally with favorite dry rub (we like Buck's Seasoning)
Put in covered roasting Pan and Bake at 450 for 10-15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 and bake 20 minutes more PER LB. Remove lid for last 20 minutes to brown skin.
Serve with Mashed Potatoes.
Or prepare Chicken as above and place on an aluminum sling in a crockpot on Low for 6 hours. Preheat oven to 500 and place roasted chicken on baking sheet (using your sling to transport it) and bake fr 10-15 min to crisp skin.
