Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 1/2 cups diced peeled apples
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- powder sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together shortening, sugar, & eggs. Mix in the dry ingrediants & then add apples and walnuts. Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 375* for 25 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
