Easy NO FAIL Sugar Cookies--The Only Recipe You'll Ever Need

Ingredients

• 1 cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp. Salt
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 cup sifted all purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1-2 tablespoons water if dough looks dry

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out dough to 1/8” thickness. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Place in cookie sheet 2” apart.
Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
