Ingredients
- 1 lb loaf of challah or egg bread and leave crusts on
- 12 oz softened cream cheese use 8oz
- 8 eggs beaten
- 2 cups of 2% milk
- 1/2 c of sugar
- 3/4 cup any brand maple syrup

Preparation
Step 1
Cut up challah into cubes. Put 1/2 the amount of cubed challah on bottom of buttered or sprayed 9x13 pan. Dot with cream cheese and then add rest of challah cubes on top, mix eggs, milk, sugar and syrup over bread. Refrigerate overnight or at least for 5 to 6 hours. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes until firm. Serve warm. Optional serve with maple syrup and/or powdered sugar sprinkled on top
