  • 2 cups AP flour = 8 1/2 oz or 240 gms try 60 gms www plus 180 gms AP
  • 1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds = 2 oz or 57 gms
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar = 1 3/4 oz or 49gm - OPT: replace both granulated & superfine sugars w 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed-106 gms)
  • 1/4 cup sifted superfine sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (or to taste, or per variations)
  • Abt 2 tbs granulated sugar for sprinkling on top (optional)
