- 2 pounds cubed Sirloin or beef for stew, round, or chuck.
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 dry brown gravy mix
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

DIRECTIONS:
In a large nonstick skillet, or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Saute onion until soft.
Add cubes and cook, stirring often, until meat is browned on all sides.
Add 1 cups water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper, to beef .
Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours.
Combine gravy mix package with 1/2 cup water and the soup. Mix thoroughly and stir into meat mixture. Simmer, stirring frequently until slightly thickened.
You can also do this in a crockpot if you would prefer.
First saute onions in oil until soft.
Then add everything described (uncooked meat)
cook for 3 -3/1/2 hours on LOW or until meat is browned and tender.
