Ingredients
- 14 oz. pkg. caramels
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. bak. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c. soft butter
- 6 oz. pkg. milk choc. chips
- 1 c. nuts (optional)

Step 1
Using 6 1/4 c. Heat'n Serve, melt caramels & milk using microwave, stirring at 30 sec. intervals till smooth. Set aside.
In lg. mixing bowl, mix flour, oatmeal, br. sugar, soda, salt, egg till mixed. Stir in butter till crumbled & press 1/2 dough into a baking pan. Bake 10 mins. @350. Sprinkle chips & nuts over top & bake 22 mins. more. Cool before cutting.
