  • 1 1 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 1 1 cup warm milk
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 3 3 cups lard or vegetable oil for frying
