- 4 4 4 cups fresh pumpkin, peeled and cubed
- 3 3 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 1 1 cup warm milk
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 3 3 cups lard or vegetable oil for frying
