Ingredients

  • crust:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Beat crust ingredients until crumbly. Press firmly in greased jelly roll pan (mine is 15.5 x 10.5 x 1 inch). Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Prepare filling below. Pour over baked layer and bake until set, about 25 minutes.

filling:
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
3 Tbsp butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups pecans, chopped

Mix all ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans
