Sangria

I love this recipe, it's easy to make and so delicious to drink!
I think this is my favorite recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 ML) of a Merlot, Zin or Cab, a medium bodied wine which ever you prefer ( a fruit wine can also be used)
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 TBLS sugar
- 1 shot rum
- 2-3 cups club soda or ginger ale
- Additional fruit to add is your choice: diced apples, blueberries, strawberries kiwi, peaches, raspberries or pears

Step 1
Put a little of the fruit in a pitcher with the sugar, muddle to release the juice and oils and the dissolve the sugar. Add the remainder of your fruit, stir.
Pour in the wine and rum, mix well. Refrigerate for about 2 hours before serving.
Put ice in a glass, fill half way with the sangria, top with your choice of ginger ale or club soda.
