Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- olive oil
- 1 can (28 oz.) tomato puree
- water
- 1 jalapeno pepper, uncut, with stem removed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6-8 leaves fresh basil

Step 1
Saute onion in 1/4" of olive oil. AFter sauteed, add tomato puree. Rinse can with water and add to pot. Add jalapeno, salt, and basil. Cook about 30 minutes.
