Ingredients

  • 8 ” - 10” pie crust (NOTE: this makes a pretty big pie. You can either do two shallow ones or one deeper one.)
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together butter and sugar.

Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and flour. Beat together well.

Pour into unbaked pie shell.

Grate ¼ teaspoon nutmeg over top.

Bake for 1 hour at 300.
