Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. M & M's

Preparation

Step 1

Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift remaining ingredients. Add to the sugar and egg mixture. Mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup M&M. Reserve remaining candy for decorating. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate top of cookies with the M&M's. Bake 375* for 10 to 12 minutes.
