Ingredients
- Topping:
- 12 Tablespoons of butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Filling mix:
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsps cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
- 4 Honey Crisp apples, peeled and sliced thin

Preparation
Step 1
Set oven to 350 degrees. Put butter and brown sugar in mixer and cream 5 minutes. Add flour, oats, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix til crumbly.
Mix, sugar, flour, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add apples.
Toss to coat.
In 9x13 add apples, sprinkle with topping and bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.
Serve warm.
