Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 Tbsp. powder sugar
  • 2 cups floour
  • Filling:
  • 1 pkg. chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
  • Topping:
  • 1 tsp. Knox gelatin
  • 2 Tbsp. hot milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream or cool whip
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Milk chocolate shavings

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and powder sugar for crust. Add flour. Mix like pie crust. Put in pan. Bake at 375* for 10 minutes. Watch closely and bake until golden brown. Cool.


Mix together pudding and ice cream with electric mixer for 5 minutes. Put on crust.

Mix together whipped cream, stiff, powdered sugar, & vanilla. Dissolve Knox gelatin in a small amoutn of cold water (1 Tbsp.) and add 2 Tbsp. hot water and 2 Tbsp. hot milk. Let cool and add to whip cream. Spread on chocolate mixture in pan. Put milk chocolate shavings on top. Refrigerate.
