Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with vegetable spray.
In a large bow, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue to beat until glossy stiff peaks form, about 4 minutes.
Add cooled chocolate, pecans and vanilla, mixing until incorporated.
Drop tablespoonfuls of mixture onto baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake a 325 degrees for 12 minutes, until set. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
