Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 (8 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese (2 cups)
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/3 c. milk

Step 1
In large bowl, with fork, mix flour, cheese and salt. With pastry blender cut 6 T. butter into flour mixture until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk. With hand, knead flour mixture just until dough holds together.
Preheat oven to 350*. Divide dough into 24 pieces. On lightly floured surface, roll 4 pieces of dough, each into about a 5" paper-thin round (edges may be ragged).
With spacula place rounds 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. In small saucepan over low heat, melt remaining 2 T. butter. With pastry brush, lightly brush each round with melted butter.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned. remove to wire rack to cool. Repeat with remaining dough. If not serving right away, store in tightly covered container.
