  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 2/3 cups all‐purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3 ‐4 large scoops of chocolate chip ice cream
  • chocolate sauce for topping

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix together butter and sugars until combined. Add in vanilla and egg. Slowly stir in the flour, baking soda and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
Press the cookie dough mixture into the bottom of an 8‐inch cast‐iron skillet.
Bake for 8‐10 minutes (it will be gooey and under‐done).
Pull out of the oven and top with ice cream, then drizzle with chocolate sauce. Serve while still warm (and before the ice cream melts!).

Notes
Change up your chocolate chips and chocolate chip ice cream for your other favorite cookie additions and ice cream flavors! We like it with toffee chips and pralines and cream, or M&Ms and chocolate peanut butter ice cream!
