Ham and Cheese Puff

Ingredients
- 2 (1 lb.) loaves Italian bread, cut into 1" cubes
- 6 c. cubed fully cooked ham
- 1 1/2 lbs. Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 16 eggs
- 7 c. milk
- 1/2 c. prepared mustard

Preparation
Step 1
Toss bread, ham and cheese together. Divide between two greased 13x9 dishes. In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender; transfer to a bowl. Add eggs, milk and mustard; mix well. Pour over bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 55-65 minutes, or until knife clean.
Can be halved for smaller serving.
