Ingredients
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 in. knob of ginger, chopped
- 1 red onion
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 2 TBS tomato paste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp each of turmeric, coriander, cumin and salt
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Blend all ingredients with stick blender. Place chicken in marinade and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
