Peach Pie - Canned Peaches

Ingredients

  • " Pie:
  • 1 14-oz. can peaches
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. margarine
  • 1 tbsp. water

Preparation

Step 1

Drain peach juice into a cup. Add enough water to fill cup.

Place sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and mix well. Gradually add peach juice and water. Cook until thickened. Add lemon juice and margarine, plus 1 tbsp. water. Add drained peaches.

Bake at 425 deg. for 20 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 deg. and bake about 35 minutes longer.
