Ingredients
- 1 can (10 1/2 -ounce) beef broth
- 3/4 cup long-grain rice uncooked
- 1 jar (4 1/2-ounces) mushrooms
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick; 2-ounces) butter or margarine melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt

Step 1
Stove top:
In 2-quart sauce pan, bring all ingredients except rice to a boil; add rice and bring to a simmer; cover and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Let stand for about 5 minutes before serving.
Microwave:
In 2 quart microwave- safe dish, combine all ingredients. Cover and microwave on high 5 minutes. Microwave on 50% power for 15 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes. Microwave was a 850-watt power.
