Ingredients

  • 1 box (16-ounce thin) spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red onions chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic clove chopped
  • 1 16 ounce peeled tomatoes crushed
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1/2 tablespoon oregano
  • 12 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large pot over medium high heat.
Saute onions, mushrooms, and garlic for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, except the Parmesan cheese, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve sauce over hot spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Yield: 5 Dinner Portions
