Ingredients
- 2 sticks (1/2-pound) butter or margarine room temperature
- 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon orange extract
- Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter room temperature
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon orange juice

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Sift in flour and cornstarch, mix thoroughly. Add flavorings and chill for 1 hour. Shape into walnut sized balls and place on greased cookies sheet or cookie sheet lined with parchment. Flatten each ball with wet cloth covered small glass.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 10 minutes. DO NOT BROWN. Carefully remove from pan. Spread with cookie glaze while cookies are warm.
Glaze: Beat all glaze ingredients together.
