Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb linguine
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup alfredo sauce, refrigerated (I use prepared)
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chablis (optional) or 1/4 cup Chardonnay wine (optional)
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half.

Step 1

Cook linguine.
While linguine is cooking, in a medium bowl, mix parmesan cheese, parsley, and the refrigerated alfredo sauce and stir to combine.
In a medium saucepan, add the alfredo parmesan mixture, fresh basil, wine, and half and half. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring, until the sauce simmers.
Place the cooked linguine into the saucepan and toss with the cream sauce.
